Bougie Pickles

Homemade pickles are super easy to make

3 cups of thin-cut fresh cucumbers

1/2 cup thin-cut onions

1 cup of sugar

1 cup of vinegar

2 tsp of pickling spices

1/4 tsp creole spice


  1. Cut cucumbers into thin slices and place in bowl.

  2. Add onions to bowl.

  3. In a pot, mix sugar, vinegar, and spices. Cook on med heat until sugar dissolves. Let rest away from heat for 3 minutes.

  4. Pour mixture on top of cucumbers and onion. Cover the bowl and place in the fridge for 24 hours.

  5. Store in mason jar in the fridge and ENJOY
